6F46A287-E0FD-4D69-A555-582152F5467AIts yet another work week and yes the grind and hustle continues! My weekend was pretty chill and relaxing safe for my daughters birthday which was celebrated kinda low key for certain reasons. However I have a little party to plan for her  at the school with another parent whose  kid’s birthday is today but celebrating on Friday as per school rules. Wish me luck!

Without much ado…let’s Jump into look the party look. As you well know creativity is my forte and I love to just put a spin on my outfits or closet pieces to make them less boring and more interesting. I decided to style this beautiful tropical print dress for party by transitioning it from a long  breezy  dress to a fun and flirty mini dress! How you say?..

Well, the dress comes with a belt of its own which I didn’t use the way it was intended by the way. So…I tied the belt around my lower hips..tending towards my thighs and pulled the dress up and out from the top forming an exaggerated puff or peplum. I left room for hem of the dress to flow underneath to get my desired look.

I paired the with a hot pink faux fur detailed pumps that’s says “Party ready” added my favorite green baroque print bag, acrylic green sunnies and green tassel earrings to go. Do you like? Do try out the trick with your long dresses.

Have a great week
