How I Styled The Tropical Print Dress 7 Ways Summer To Fall. Look 1: Trendy

‘ New York Fashion Week’ got me feeling right in my element the past few week which spurred my desire and decision to further stretch my creative capacity to see just what awesome style looks I could eke out of  this absolutely beautiful tropical  print dress! It may sound ridiculous but yes it is indeed so. I styled this gorgeous piece seven lovely ways.

This look, which is not my typical style, took me out of my comfort zone and was a bit of a risk for me albeit one I wanted to take. Change after all  is forever constant and as humans we evolve over time whether consciously or unconsciously…negative or positive, deliberate or otherwise, evolve we will! Hence this.  It is no news that the fashion blogosphere constantly changes year in and out, each year bringing with it celebrated fashion on the street by individuals and the  runway by renowned designers and new brands birthing fashion week.

One of the trends currently making waves  at the moment is the “daddy shoes” I.e bulky trainers. To think that I initially frowned at this trend when I first spotted it! Hmmm never say never Ade! Oh now I know…now I know better. Trust I will rock it over and over again now. Why? A trial convinced me! 😆

As a terrain I am not quite used to I eased into this trend not with the regular daddy shoes as seen all over but with this bulky pink ASICS sneakers scored off Nordstrom Rack. Style is originality! The hot pink of the sneaks paired really well with the dress which had patches of baby pink all over it. I belted the dress to define my waistline and for a refined look. Added a pair of bright pink earrings and bag to match. Spot my fishnet sock? 😉👌Do you like?

This look is versatile because it could pass for summer and also appropriate for easing into fall. Plus comfort is key this days. What better way to incoporate comfort with chic than stylishly pairing your dresses with sneakers/trainers. I will be posting look two shortly. Do stay on this fun ride with me! 😘😘
