Pink Two-Piece Styled: Casual Chic

This week I actually felt like Spring Weather is finally upon us🙌🏻🌸 It’s been a beautiful week. I am positive we all are ready to have fun in the sun dornning beautiful, stylish and colorful light weight clothing. Whatever your take on spring fashion, you can rest assure you will never go wrong sporting a colorful/bright two-piece skirt or pant suit. Fashion stylists, designer labels, bloggers, celebs/style icons and fashionistas, have sported this look recently and still on it. So go ahead! Get on to this classic fashion forward trend if you have not already done so.

My two-piece skirt suit is vintage and a favorite local thrift find. The cut, tailored fit and gold button details on the sleeves got me so sold, I had to bag it! I like the fact that you can take this versatile piece from work to brunch to dinner and happy hour with friends just by switching one or two accessories.
In my previous post I styled this gorgeous  pink two piece skirt suit for business/work here 👉

This look is a casual take on it.  I spruced things up a bit by getting creative, doing a little fashion arithmetic😁. The blouse in my previous post was worn over the black t-shirt here so for this look all I did was pull it off for a laid back ready-for-fun look.(a good trick if you are heading out for fun post work😉) I added a pair of verdant green tassel earrings, my go-to black ankle booties, the sailor hat and played around with sunshades and bags.

The  studded bucket bag and silver sun shades gives an edgy vibe to the outfit and pairs well with the boots, while the green box bag renders a more feminine and girly touch, as it matches the shirt and earrings. The boots can also be replaced with comfy flats, sneakers/oxfords/brogues if heading to the bar or movies with friends or you could wear a pair of heeled sandals and ditch the hat for a dinner date.

Style Tip: Scrunching the sleeves of your blazers, jackets or tops (pulling the sleeves to your elbow or mid-arm)will always give that casual effortless chic look to any outfit. Try it if you don’t already do!
