Style should never be boring! As such, I find myself always ever on a creative spin with my outfits. I am a rebel when it comes to fashion rules, (learn some break some!) I mix, match and create often by thinking outside the box and infusing a little bit of myself into any outfit I wear regardless of the trend or acceptable way of styling a piece. I tend to embrace my individuality and express this through my outfits and style. I mean Why not? Free world!
My look was inspired by the Popular Coachella Festival! First Musical Festival of the Year which often marks the beginning of Spring and joyful anticipation of summer fun. More interesting is the fact that Outfits/styles seen at Coachella often sets the tone for spring/summer trends to embrace by fashionistas all around.
The bohemian look, characterized by earth tones/camel hues, short or long frocks/dresses, vegan leather, denim, prints and patterns, florals, fancy fedora hats, boots, fringes, statement jewelry and accessories evoking a joyful free spirit are all reminiscents of the Coachella festival.
https://wp.me/p9DiHk-84I have never attended Coachella but plan on doing so in the near future. However to herald the festival in view of my love for music and the outdoors I decided to dress the part, lending a behomian vibe to the classic vintage button-down checked blazer.
I wore this simple yet chic button down blazer over a black mini skirt, cinched at the waist with a fringed leather waist belt. I added the cowboy inspired boots and finished with retro shades, statement earrings and broach. I feel like the belt and boot screams bohemian and pairing them with the classic blazer is creativity at its best!😉
