Mixing Textures

Leather and Tweed Over White T-shirt

Just in time for fashion week around the globe and of course to express my individuality heralding the latest rave in black culture cinematography ‘BLACK PANTHER’, (I have yet to see it but plan to….wink) I centered my look around dressing up a plain white T-shirt in a monochromatic color scheme.  We all know a plain T-shirt is  very versatile and can be worn a number of ways, dressed up or down depending on the occasion or mood.  I decided to dress up this wardrobe staple by playing with textures to achieve that uptown girl vibe. I opted for this black leather pants and tweed jacket. I was quiet undecided as to what shoes to complete my look with so I wore both black and white pumps, as I realized they both compliment my look beautifully. I finished off the ensemble with a leather hat to match my pants and a simple pearl neckpiece.

Hope you like it!
